OCPL Central Library’s new book club for adults, led by Central Librarian Assistant Linda Kandel, will meet the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at Central Library: Smith Room, 5th floor OCPL Central Library The Galleries of Syracuse 447 S. Salina St., Syracuse, NY 13202-2494 The group’s first meeting is January 10, 2012, and they will discuss The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. Please call 315.435.1900 with any questions. The Book Thief is also the newest CNY Reads title. Events related to The Book Thief will be scheduled in Central New York throughout 2012. More information on CNY Reads: Since 2001, representatives of Central New York's cultural, educational, and social service organizations have come together to sponsor "CNY Reads One Book", the largest "one book, one community" reads program in New York State.
