IƱigo Manglano-Ovalle, Always After (the Glass House)

Internationally recognized multimedia artist, Iñigo Manglano-Ovalle, employs footage shot on a high-speed film camera, Always After focuses on the broken glass accumulated after the windows of the Mies-designed Illinois Institute of Technology’s Crown Hall were smashed by the architect’s own grandson as part of a ceremony in advance of the building’s renovation.
Urban Video Project (UVP) is a multimedia public art initiative of Light Work and Syracuse University in collaboration with Everson Museum of Art. The project operates electronic exhibition sites along the Connective Corridor in Syracuse, NY at Syracuse Stage and the Everson Museum of Art. The mission of UVP is to present exhibitions and projects that celebrate the arts and culture of Syracuse and engage artists and the creative community around the world.
